Lorna Nahil is the founder and managing partner of CFO Enterprise, a North Carolina-based company providing part-time and interim chief financial officer and controller services to emerging growth and mid-market companies. As an entrepreneurial financial executive with more than 36 years of multi-industry experience, she offers entrepreneurial expertise, strategic financial leadership and executive management talent in the technology, service, hospitality, distribution and manufacturing sectors. Lorna’s work encompasses large and small, very rapid growth, public and private company international environments. A 2013 Silver Stevie Award for Women in Business recipient for lifetime achievement as judged by her peers, she has extensive experience in operational management and has focused in the international arena for nearly four decades, developing a keen awareness and understanding of the Asian, Middle East and European markets.
Doug Bruce has more than 20 years of experience in financial and operations management, covering a broad spectrum of industries and ownership structures. He is a hands-on financial manager with small growing companies, reporting directly to diverse owner groups in a wide range of industries. Focusing on the fundamentals of aggressive cash management, sound management information and customer service, Doug has a proven track record of helping companies define and achieve their goals. From developing best practices in credit and collection to structuring and negotiating contracts, bank lines, leases and contracts, Doug works with management, customers, vendors, partners and professionals to ensure that the company’s sales and operations are well supported and its assets are protected. Doug has led operations, finance and administrative functions. He is a business-minded, actively participating executive with a collaborative leadership approach that effectively bridges the gap between the board room and field operations. Growing existing operations, developing budgets, overseeing strategic planning, integrating acquisitions, improving systems, implementing key metrics reporting systems and determining the efficacy of internal controls are areas where his cross-functional experience has accelerated progress and built value for clients.
Philip Carnevale is an innovative business leader with more than 38 years of experience in the business planning, management and operations of various types of entities. His focus has involved the manufacturing, processing and distribution of both consumable and durable goods and services. Accomplished in handling strategic business planning together with formulating and executing tactical day-to-day solutions, Philip is skilled in accounting, auditing, cash flow management, acquisitions, divestitures, finance, expense control, financial reporting and operational metrics analysis. In addition, he has significant experience in the operations of both privately-held and public entities during periods of rapid expansion and restructuring. Philip is a creative executive with public accounting experience both as a consultant and auditor. He has a proven record of proactive leadership in highly competitive and cyclical businesses and teaching experience as an adjunct professor of accounting.
Sarah serves as Senior Partner for our Executive Search and Mergers and Acquisitions division. Known for her highly consultative and partnership approach, she has built long-term relationships with a broad array of clients, ranging from Fortune 100 companies to startups. Sarah’s practice spans a variety of industries, with a particular emphasis in engineering, technology, and professional services sectors. As a generalist, she has expertise across functional disciplines, including but not limited to, human resources, I/T, operations, marketing and sales.
